We have eliminated the use of IPA (Industrial Alcohol), used by the majority of printers on their presses. In recognition of this we were presented with a ‘Seal of Environmental Excellence’.

The inks we use are no longer the more widely used mineral oil based but have a vegetable oil base. These inks print extremely well on all grades of paper and produce results off the press second to none.

Only paper with high environmental credentials are purchased and where possible are either recycled or have a recycled content. All other paper we use comes from sustainable forests.

Our calendars this year are printed on a new range of papers, Aleo silk, kindly supplied by Antalis. This paper provides a balance of 50% virgin fibre from sustainable forests and 50% recycled pulp. It has an excellent whiteness and an exceptional surface, more than a match to comparable woodfree coated papers.
